A Note on Directions

As you know, not everything can go smoothly!  Beyond every effort to make sure the invitation wording was correct, there was a large oversight on the directions on my part.  The directions to the reception are correct, however the directions to the Church are not.  You can use the directions to the reception to get to the Church, with the exception that after you turn Left onto Main Street in Pittsford, you will need to make a right hand turn onto either Locust or Church Street where you will find the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford.  This turn is within about a block after you make the turn onto Main Street.  We will have signs up to help guide you.

Also, if you click on the links on the right of this page under "Wedding Basics" there are direction links that will also provide maps to get to the Church as well as from the Church to the reception.

If you need any help please feel free to call any of my family members or myself to help guide you through the correct directions.

Sorry for the confusion.

Bridal Shower

A wonderful day filled with family, friends and a lot of laughs! Thanks to all who helped pull the day together and to all those that shared the day with me. Certainly a day to remember. Just a few of the highlights was a beautifully designed zebra cake with a shoe and a peacock feather topper, how perfect!  A game of bridal bingo started out the laughs as family and friends were quizzed on some of my favorite hobbies, places and questions on Sandeep and myself.  Chincy, who amazingly has never played Bingo won the first round!

The next great event involved designing a wedding dress with only toilet paper and tape.  Oh my, what a great time!  Two teams had 10 minutes to dress myself and Kristina with their own wedding dress design.  Both of us were adorned with a very unique dress complete with veil, garter, ring and flowers!  What a great team effort and a whole lot of fun.

Best of all we had a lot of laughs and spent some quality time with family and friends.  Many great wishes were made and were greatly appreciated.  Thanks to everyone that joined us and what a great way to begin the countdown to the wedding.

Wedding Accommodation Information

As luck would have it there is a huge Homecoming celebration the weekend of the wedding in Rochester, therefore blocking rooms for guests has been pretty close to impossible.  However, a loophole has been found!!  If you reserve your hotel room prior to September 9th (yes right around the corner) we can take advantage of the "RIT Brick City Homecoming" hotel rates.  The catch is that you need to mention "Brick City Homecoming" when you register in order to get the discount.  I have posted the link below to the list of hotels associated with the discount, along with every other hotel in Rochester - most of which are sold out.

Another benefit to the homecoming is that if you are=2 0looking for some things to do during non-wedding times you can register for the homecoming events as a guest for free (the link to register is within the hotel link information).  Many of the events are free and includes ice skating, swimming, tours, exhibits, and some classes.  RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) is a nice campus for those that haven't seen it.  There should also be plenty of other associated events throughout the city - I'll try and look them up and let you know; I'll also post them to the wedding blog.

Well, I think that pretty much covers it for accommodations.  If you have any problems or have questions just let me know.
